The Two Lake Tahoes
Lake Tahoe is the same lake, but the experience splits cleanly in two. The South Shore — anchored by Stateline, Nevada and South Lake Tahoe, California — is the party side. Five casinos in a four-block walk, the densest nightlife in the basin, Heavenly Mountain on the horizon, and the Weekender pontoon waiting at Zephyr Cove. The North Shore — Incline Village, Crystal Bay, Tahoe City, Olympic Valley, Truckee — is the refined side. The Ritz-Carlton, Palisades Tahoe (Olympic Valley), Sand Harbor State Park, and a dining scene with multiple chef's-tasting-counter restaurants.
For most bachelor parties, the South Shore wins. The nightlife density, the casino density, the lodging value, the boat day at Zephyr Cove, and the fact that everything is walkable from a Stateline Airbnb make the South Shore the default answer. But the North Shore is not a wrong answer — it has a real case for certain types of bachelor weekends, and dismissing it without considering the trade-offs leaves money on the table.
This is the side-by-side from the team that runs the Weekender at Zephyr Cove Marina, watching bachelor groups arrive every weekend May through October. We see who bases South and who bases North, what works, what doesn't, and where the math actually lands.

South Shore — The Default Bachelor Answer
For most bachelor parties, the math runs in one direction. The South Shore has every piece of the standard bachelor party stack in one geography: the boat, the casino, the steakhouse, the nightclub, the dive bar, the breakfast spot. You don't drive between scenes — you walk or take a 5-minute Uber.
Where the South Shore Is, Exactly
The South Shore stretches from Camp Richardson on the California side, through South Lake Tahoe (CA), across the Nevada state line, through Stateline (NV), and out to Zephyr Cove and Round Hill. The dense part — where the bachelor party action is — is the Stateline corridor, a four-block strip on the Nevada side of the state line, packed with casinos, hotels, restaurants, and bars. The Heavenly Village shopping and gondola area sits immediately west of Stateline on the California side.
Zephyr Cove Marina, where the Weekender boards, is 4 miles north of Stateline on Highway 50 — a 10-minute drive.
Where to Stay (South Shore)
1. Stateline / Kingsbury / Round Hill Airbnb or VRBO (best value for groups). 4-to-6-bedroom houses in the Kingsbury Grade and Round Hill neighborhoods, walking distance (or a 5-minute Uber) to Stateline casinos. Hot tub on the deck is standard. Group basecamp without a hotel kicking you out at noon. Expect $1,500–$4,000/night for the whole house — splits to ~$80-$200 per person per night for 10-12 guests. Book 8-12 weeks out for summer weekends.
2. Casino hotel rooms (convenient). Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe (formerly Harveys), Bally's Lake Tahoe (formerly MontBleu), Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Harrah's Lake Tahoe, and Golden Nugget all sit on Stateline's main strip. $150-$400 per night per room. Pro: walking distance to gambling, dining, and clubs. Con: no shared space, two-per-room means losing the group hangout, and you'll pay resort fees on top.
3. Edgewood Tahoe Resort (premium). Lakefront, on the championship golf course, dramatically nicer than the casinos. $600-$900+ per night. The Lodge at Edgewood was a $100M build — gas fireplaces in every room, lakefront pool, evening s'mores around fire pits. For groups where someone in the wedding party is making it happen.
4. Heavenly Village condos (good middle option). Marriott Grand Residence Club, Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel, and the Heavenly Village condos. Walking distance to the gondola and Stateline. $200-$500/night/condo. Sleeps 4-6 per unit, so book two if needed.
Where to Eat (South Shore)
Casual / first night dinner:
- Lucky Beaver Bar & Burger — 24-hour burger joint right on Stateline. Loud, lively, group-friendly. The default Friday arrival spot.
- Base Camp Pizza Co. — In Heavenly Village. Wood-fired pizza, large group seating, walking distance to the gondola.
- Naked Fish Sushi — Sushi and sake bombs. Sake bomb tower sets the tone. Reservations recommended for 8+.
- Freshies — Hawaiian-inspired plates, group-friendly, casual.
- Stateline Brewery — Brewpub with brunch and casual mains.
Saturday big-night dinner:
- Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen at Caesars Republic — celebrity chef's signature menu (Beef Wellington, Sticky Toffee Pudding). Book 2-3 weeks ahead.
- Wolf by Lisa Vanderpump at Caesars Republic — newer, glam, scene over substance. Worth it if your group leans toward an experience.
- Ciera Steak & Chophouse at Bally's — old-school steakhouse, big steaks, big drinks, big bills.
- The Sage Room at Bally's — mid-century steakhouse, the quieter dressy option.
- Friday's Station Grill at Harrah's — 18th floor, panoramic Lake Tahoe view. Steak and seafood.
- Edgewood Restaurant — lakefront fine dining. The "we're being adults tonight" pick.
Breakfast / Sunday brunch:
- Heidi's Pancake House — South Tahoe institution since 1964. The default group breakfast spot.
- Red Hut Café — Diner classics, big portions, multiple locations.
- The Getaway Café — Sunday brunch standard, expect a wait.
- Toulouse — More upscale, sit-down French toast.
Nightlife (South Shore)
The South Shore is the nightlife answer in the basin. Five casino floors open until 4 AM, a real nightclub, two solid live-music dive bars, and an after-hours dance bar that goes until close.
- Opal Night Club at Bally's — Main higher-energy nightclub on the South Shore. Bottle service, DJs, dance floor. Open weekends until late.
- AleWorX Stateline — Craft beer, wood-fired pizza, DJ dance party on Friday and Saturday nights. Open until 2 AM weekends.
- Whiskey Dick's — Loud dive saloon, cheap drinks, live music, easy energy. The default Friday-night bachelor spot.
- Lucky Beaver Saloon (different from the burger joint upstairs) — Late-night bar with a younger crowd.
- Casino bar rounds — The casinos all have multiple bars on their gaming floors. Easy to bar-hop between Caesars, Bally's, Hard Rock, and Harrah's without leaving the strip.
The Casinos (South Shore)
Stateline's casino corridor is the densest concentration of gambling in California or Nevada outside of Las Vegas and Reno. Five large casinos, all clustered in a four-block walk, all open 24 hours.
- Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe (formerly Harveys, rebranded 2024) — Largest property at Stateline. ~85,000 sq ft of gaming, full sportsbook, multiple restaurants. The flagship.
- Bally's Lake Tahoe (formerly MontBleu, rebranded 2023) — ~40,000 sq ft of gaming, Opal Nightclub, Ciera Steak & Chophouse, The Sage Room.
- Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe — Music-themed, modern, mid-range gaming floor.
- Harrah's Lake Tahoe — Caesars Entertainment property, classic casino vibe, 18th-floor Friday's Station restaurant.
- Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe — Smaller, more local, lower table minimums.
Table minimums on Saturday nights tend to start at $25 blackjack, $15-$25 craps and roulette. Caesars Republic typically has the higher minimums; Golden Nugget the lowest.

When the South Shore Wins (Almost Always)
- Standard bachelor party with 8-12 guys — casino-and-boat combo is the centerpiece.
- Budget cap of $1,500/person or less.
- Group wants walkable nightlife (Friday and Saturday late nights).
- You're flying into Reno (RNO) and want the simplest logistics.
- Summer trip (June-September) — boat day, lake swimming, BBQ on the Weekender.
- Group has mixed nightlife preferences — South has options at every energy level.
North Shore — The Refined Alternative
The North Shore is a different product. The casino corridor that defined Crystal Bay in the Sinatra era has dwindled to one operating casino. Tahoe Biltmore closed in 2022 and was foreclosed in 2025. The Cal Neva (Frank Sinatra's old place) has been closed since 2013 and is still working through redevelopment. What remains is the Crystal Bay Casino — small, intimate, with a respected concert hall — and a small casino floor at the Hyatt Regency in Incline Village.
What the North Shore has instead is the lake's most beautiful beach (Sand Harbor), the basin's most upscale resort (Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe), the most acclaimed dining scene (Manzanita, Lone Eagle Grille, West Shore Cafe, Wolfdale's), and direct access to Palisades Tahoe (one of America's premier ski mountains). It trades casino energy for resort polish.
Where the North Shore Is, Exactly
The North Shore spans about 25 miles of coastline plus the inland resort areas. Going clockwise from the east: Incline Village (Nevada, upscale residential and Hyatt Regency), Crystal Bay (Nevada, the small casino corridor), Kings Beach (California, casual lakefront town), Tahoe Vista and Carnelian Bay (California, lakefront neighborhoods), and Tahoe City (California, the most-developed lakefront town). Inland from the lake: Olympic Valley (formerly Squaw Valley, home of Palisades Tahoe ski resort) and Truckee (the historic mountain town 10 miles north of the lake).
Where to Stay (North Shore)
1. The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe (mid-mountain at Northstar) — premium. Ski-in/ski-out at Northstar Resort in winter, mountain views year-round. Five restaurants and bars on property, including Manzanita. Spa, two heated outdoor pools, gym. $700-$1,200/night in summer, more in winter. The premium bachelor party pick.
2. Everline Resort & Spa (formerly Resort at Squaw Creek), Olympic Valley. At the base of Palisades Tahoe. Outdoor pool complex with a 90-foot waterslide, three whirlpools, on-property golf (The Links at Everline). $400-$800/night. Six Peaks Grille on property for steaks. Great for groups doing both lake and mountain in the same weekend.
3. Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, Incline Village. Lakefront on the Nevada side of the North Shore. Private beach, small casino on property, Lone Eagle Grille (one of Tahoe's signature restaurants). $300-$600/night. The North Shore's only lakefront-with-casino property. Currently undergoing a multi-phase renovation owned by Larry Ellison; main building is fully operational.
4. North Shore Airbnb / VRBO. Lakefront houses in Tahoe Vista, Kings Beach, Incline Village, or off-lake in Truckee or Olympic Valley. 4-6 bedrooms, $400-$1,200/night. Splits to $130-$300/person/night for 10-12 guests. Higher cost than equivalent South Shore Airbnb but lakefront options exist.
5. The Village at Palisades Tahoe. Ski village condo rentals in Olympic Valley. 1-3 bedroom units, $250-$600/night. Walkable to bars and restaurants in the ski village. Best for winter bachelor parties.
Where to Eat (North Shore)
The North Shore's dining scene is the basin's most acclaimed. Reservations 2-4 weeks ahead for the marquee spots in summer.
Marquee Saturday dinner:
- Manzanita at the Ritz-Carlton (Truckee/Northstar) — California fine dining, mountain setting, chef's tasting counter option. The North Shore's top occasion meal. Book 3-4 weeks out.
- Lone Eagle Grille at the Hyatt Regency (Incline Village) — Stone hearth, exceptional wine list, signature "Baked Tahoe" dessert. Best lakefront table on the North Shore. Entrees $34-$59.
- West Shore Cafe & Inn (Homewood) — Pier-side dining, the lake laps under your feet, intimate setting. The "anniversary dinner" energy.
- Wolfdale's Cuisine Unique (Tahoe City) — Local institution since 1978, Chef Bill Watson, Asian-California fusion. A North Shore classic.
- PlumpJack Cafe (Olympic Valley) — At the PlumpJack Inn near Palisades. Refined Cal cuisine with a strong wine list.
- Smoke Door Lake Tahoe Saryo — Japanese wood-fire cooking, alumni from Saison and Michael Mina. The newest acclaimed addition.
Casual / group-friendly:
- Gar Woods Grill & Pier (Carnelian Bay) — Lakefront, large group capacity (160 seats), the famous "Wet Woody" frozen rum slushy. Bachelor-group-friendly.
- Jake's on the Lake (Tahoe City) — Family-owned since 1978, waterfront, casual California cuisine.
- Christy Hill Lakeside Bistro (Tahoe City) — Modern American, lakefront views, mid-range.
- Moody's Bistro & Lounge (Truckee) — Live jazz some nights, bistro food, historic Truckee downtown setting.
- Big Water Grille (Incline Village) — Panoramic lake views, steaks and seafood.
Breakfast / brunch:
- Fire Sign Cafe (Tahoe City) — Long-running breakfast institution, classic diner standards.
- Squeeze In (Truckee) — Featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. 60+ omelets on the menu. Big portions.
- Coffee Connexion (Tahoe City) — Solid coffee plus breakfast sandwiches.
- The Soda Springs Café at Northstar — On-mountain breakfast option for ski-in/ski-out crews.
Nightlife (North Shore)
This is the honest part. North Shore nightlife is a fraction of South Shore's. The "club" energy doesn't really exist. What you get is a few good bars, an actually-acclaimed live-music venue at Crystal Bay Casino, and après-ski energy in the winter at Palisades.
- Crystal Bay Casino — Crown Room & Red Room — Small casino, but the concert venue (Crown Room for headliners, Red Room for after-parties) hosts a genuinely good touring rotation: California Honeydrops, Los Lobos, North Mississippi Allstars, Steve Earle, jam-band tours. Best for groups that want a real live music night, not a nightclub.
- Naughty Dawg Saloon (Tahoe City) — Dive bar with a deck, the standard Tahoe City late-night spot.
- Pete & Peters (Tahoe City) — Brewpub-style, casual.
- Le Chamois & Loft Bar (Olympic Valley) — Iconic ski-village après-ski bar, busy in winter, quieter in summer.
- KT Base Bar (Palisades Tahoe village) — Slopeside après bar.
- Bar of America (Truckee) — Historic 1880s building, locals' bar, full menu.
- The Pastime Club (Truckee) — Truckee's oldest bar, dive vibe.
- Hacienda Truckee & Cottonwood Restaurant (Truckee) — Restaurant-bar hybrid spots with late-night energy on weekends.
The Casino Reality on the North Shore
Be clear-eyed about this: the North Shore casino scene is not what it was in the Sinatra era and it's not currently competitive with Stateline. The three historic Crystal Bay anchors — Cal Neva, Tahoe Biltmore, Crystal Bay Casino — are down to one (Crystal Bay Casino) actively operating. The Cal Neva has been closed since 2013 and is in long-running redevelopment with a target of reopening for its 100th anniversary in 2026. The Tahoe Biltmore closed in 2022 and was foreclosed in 2025, future uncertain.
What's left:
- Crystal Bay Casino — Small but operating, intimate vibe, the Crown Room concerts are the real draw, decent restaurant (Soule Domain across the street), 24-hour gaming. Better as a music venue than a gambling destination.
- Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe (Incline Village) — Small casino floor inside the resort. Decent for a few hands of blackjack if you're staying there; not a destination casino.
If gambling is a centerpiece of your bachelor weekend, the South Shore is the answer. If you'd rather see a live band at the Crown Room than throw $300 at blackjack, the Crystal Bay Casino music calendar is worth checking against your dates.
Daytime Activities (North Shore)
- Sand Harbor State Park — Arguably the most beautiful beach on the lake. Granite boulders, turquoise water, Shakespeare on the Sand outdoor theater festival in July-August. Limited parking — arrive before 9 AM or take the East Shore Express shuttle from Incline Village.
- Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley) — Skiing November-May, hiking and mountain biking summer. The Aerial Tram to High Camp (8,200 ft) runs year-round with a pool, restaurant, and views at the top.
- Northstar California Resort — Skiing winter, mountain biking summer, golf at the Ritz-Carlton course.
- Truckee River rafting — Float from Tahoe City to River Ranch, easy 2-hour drift, multiple outfitters at the Truckee River outlet.
- Tahoe Rim Trail — 165-mile trail circling the lake; the East Shore section above Incline Village is the most accessible.
- Boat day at Zephyr Cove — 30-60 minutes by car from North Shore lodging, but worth the drive. Weekender details →
- Golf at the Ritz-Carlton, Old Greenwood, or Schaffer's Mill — Three premium courses in the Truckee area.
When the North Shore Wins
- Winter bachelor party — Palisades Tahoe and Northstar are world-class skiing.
- The bachelor is over the casino-bar circuit and wants a more refined weekend.
- Group of 4-6 (not 10-12) — North Shore lodging scales better for smaller premium groups.
- Budget is $1,500+ per person and the group wants to push toward the upper end with the Ritz-Carlton.
- The bachelor and his crew are golfers — Old Greenwood, Schaffer's Mill, and the Ritz course are excellent.
- Couples bachelor weekend (some bachelorettes coming too) — North Shore's quieter resort energy works better.
- Group includes guys with families and a "more wedding-rehearsal energy than Vegas energy" tone.
The Boat Day: Which Shore?
The Weekender lives at Zephyr Cove Marina, on the South Shore (Nevada side, 4 miles north of Stateline). For groups based on the South Shore, the boat day is a 10-minute drive in the morning. For groups based on the North Shore, the boat day becomes a 30-to-60-minute drive depending on lodging:
| From | Drive Time to Zephyr Cove | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Stateline / Heavenly Village | 10 min | Trivial |
| South Lake Tahoe (CA, Highway 50) | 12-15 min | Trivial |
| Incline Village (Hyatt Regency) | 30-35 min | Scenic east shore drive |
| Tahoe City | 45-55 min | Half the lake's perimeter |
| Olympic Valley / Palisades Tahoe | 55-65 min | Off-lake, requires extra time |
| Truckee / Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe | 60-75 min | I-80 west, then south around the lake |
For North Shore groups, the boat day requires planning around a 1-hour drive each way. It still works — many North Shore bachelor groups make the trip — but it changes Saturday's pacing from "leisurely morning" to "we have to hit the road at 9 AM sharp." The trade-off is real, and it's the single biggest reason most bachelor parties base on the South Shore.
If your group is based on the North Shore but committed to the boat day, the cleanest play is to base at the Hyatt Regency in Incline Village. From Incline, Zephyr Cove is 30 minutes around the east shore — about the same as a Reno-to-Tahoe drive — and the route itself is one of the most scenic on the lake.
The Weekender Is Worth the Drive
From any North Shore basecamp, the boat day at Zephyr Cove is the centerpiece. Lock in the date first.
Check Availability & BookThe Cost Comparison in Detail
| Line item (10 people, 3 days) | South Shore | North Shore |
|---|---|---|
| Flights to RNO (avg) | $300-$450 pp | $300-$450 pp |
| Lodging (5BR for 2 nights, mid-range) | $2,500-$4,000 total | $3,500-$6,000 total |
| Premium lodging tier | Edgewood Tahoe: $1,200-$1,800/night | Ritz-Carlton: $1,400-$2,400/night |
| Saturday Weekender boat (split 10) | $132 pp half-day / $195 pp full-day | Same — boat is at Zephyr Cove |
| Saturday big dinner (per person) | $80-$160 (Hell's Kitchen, Edgewood) | $90-$180 (Manzanita, Lone Eagle Grille) |
| Casino / gambling buffer | $200-$400 per person | $50-$150 per person (less to do) |
| Nightlife covers and drinks | $150-$300 per person across the weekend | $80-$200 per person |
| Activities (extras: gondola, golf, ski lift) | $100-$300 per person | $150-$500 per person (golf is premium) |
| Total per person | $700-$1,400 | $900-$1,800 |
The North Shore runs about 20-30% more for an equivalent-tier weekend, mostly because lodging is more expensive and golf/ski/spa add-ons are pricier. The savings on casino and nightlife don't fully offset the lodging premium. For a more detailed breakdown, see our Lake Tahoe bachelor party cost guide.
Drive Times From Reno-Tahoe Airport (RNO)
| Destination | Route | Drive Time |
|---|---|---|
| Stateline / South Lake Tahoe | US-50 W (Spooner Summit) | ~60 min |
| Zephyr Cove Marina | US-50 W | ~55 min |
| Incline Village (Hyatt Regency) | NV-431 (Mt. Rose Highway) | ~45 min |
| Tahoe City | I-80 W → SR-89 S | ~75 min |
| Olympic Valley / Palisades Tahoe | I-80 W → SR-89 S | ~70 min |
| Truckee / Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe | I-80 W | ~50 min |
Two airport access routes matter. South Shore traffic flows through Spooner Summit on US-50 — one mountain pass, can slow in winter or weekend afternoons. North Shore traffic flows on I-80 — interstate, generally faster, but the Truckee-to-lake spur on SR-89 or NV-267 adds 15-25 minutes depending on destination. In summer Saturday-afternoon traffic, both routes can add 30-45 minutes of delay.
Decision Framework: Which Shore for Your Group?
Pick the South Shore if...
- It's your first Tahoe bachelor party and you want the standard playbook.
- Group is 8-12 and you want one walkable basecamp.
- Casinos and nightlife are a real part of the weekend.
- Budget is $1,500/person or less.
- It's June through September.
- You want the Weekender boat day with minimal driving overhead.
- The bachelor is into Vegas-style trips and Tahoe is the alt.
Pick the North Shore if...
- The bachelor party is in November-April and skiing is the centerpiece.
- Group is 4-8 and you want a more refined, smaller-group weekend.
- Budget allows $1,500+/person and the Ritz-Carlton is on the table.
- Golf is a real part of the trip.
- Mixed couples or family-adjacent bachelor weekend (less nightlife focus).
- The bachelor has done the casino-bar circuit and wants something different.
- You want Sand Harbor for swimming and the Crystal Bay Casino for a live music night.
Hybrid: South Base + North Day Trip
Some bachelor groups base on the South Shore (for the casino nightlife and the boat day) and do a Sunday day trip to the North Shore — drive to Sand Harbor for the morning, lunch at Gar Woods in Carnelian Bay, then back south. This is a strong play for groups that want the best of both shores. The drive around the lake (either direction) is about 90 minutes one-way and stays scenic the entire way.
The Boat Day Is the Centerpiece — From Any Basecamp
South Shore base = 10 min to the boat. North Shore base = 30-60 min to the boat. Both work. The boat is the part you can't replace.
Book the WeekenderSouth vs. North Shore Bachelor Party FAQs
Which side has better nightlife?
South Shore, decisively. Stateline's five casinos, Opal Nightclub at Bally's, AleWorX, and Whiskey Dick's together cover the full nightlife stack — gambling, club, dive bar, late-night dance. The North Shore has Crystal Bay Casino's concert venue, the Hyatt Regency's small casino, and some good Tahoe City and Truckee bars — but the density and late-night options are a fraction of the South.
Is Crystal Bay still a casino destination?
No, not the way it was. Of the three historic Crystal Bay anchors, only Crystal Bay Casino is operating. The Cal Neva has been closed since 2013 (in long redevelopment, targeting 2026 reopening). The Tahoe Biltmore closed in 2022 and was foreclosed in 2025. Crystal Bay Casino itself is a small, intimate gaming floor with an excellent music venue but not a destination gambling stop.
Where do most bachelor parties actually stay?
Our marina sees roughly 80-85% of bachelor groups based in the Stateline/Kingsbury/Round Hill area on the South Shore. The other 15-20% split between Edgewood (premium South Shore), Heavenly Village condos, and a small share at the Hyatt Regency Incline or Ritz-Carlton (premium North Shore).
Is the boat day worth it from the North Shore?
Yes, but it changes Saturday's pacing. From Incline Village (30 minutes), it works comfortably. From Tahoe City or Olympic Valley (50-60 minutes), it requires a 9 AM start to make a 10 AM boat departure. Most North-Shore-based bachelor groups still make the trip — the Weekender is the defining experience of a Lake Tahoe bachelor party and few alternatives compete.
Can I do both shores in one weekend?
Yes — many groups base South for the nightlife and do a Sunday day trip to Sand Harbor and the North Shore. The full lake loop is about 72 miles and 2.5-3 hours of driving without stops. Realistic to see both major shores if you've got 3+ days.
What about the West Shore (Homewood, Tahoma)?
The West Shore is the lake's quietest stretch — small lakefront communities, no casinos, very limited nightlife. Best for couples retreats, not bachelor parties. The West Shore Cafe in Homewood is a destination dinner spot and worth a one-time trip from either shore.
Best winter bachelor party shore?
North Shore, easily. Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley) and Northstar are the basin's best skiing. Heavenly Mountain on the South Shore is also excellent, but the village energy is concentrated at Olympic Valley (Palisades) and Northstar. For a winter ski bachelor party, base at the Ritz-Carlton, Everline Resort, or in the Palisades Village condos.
Which shore for the bachelor over 35?
Many older bachelor groups (35+) lean North Shore. The casino-and-nightclub circuit is less appealing in your late 30s, and the Ritz-Carlton, Manzanita dinner, golf weekend has aged better than the Stateline blackjack-and-Whiskey-Dick's loop. That said, the Weekender boat day still works at any age and stays on the South Shore.
Where do you get the best photos?
The boat day at Zephyr Cove (South Shore) and Sand Harbor (North Shore) produce the best Tahoe photos — both have turquoise water, granite shorelines, and Sierra mountain backdrops. For nightlife photos, the South Shore casino corridor is more photogenic than the North Shore's options.
Pick Your Shore. Book the Weekender.
